COMPOSITE 5-BLADE SWEPT PROPLLERS

Continuing in the company’s tradition of applying state-of-the-art technology to the design of high-performance propellers, Raisbeck worked with Hartell Properller to bring Composite Swetp Blade Propellers to 200 and 300 series King Airs. Noticeably quieter, lighter in weight, damage resistant, and commanding more power without added noise, Raisbeck’s Composite 5-Blade Swept Propellers offer increased performance, strength, and payload. Composite blades are manufactured with structural carbon fiber composite over a metal bald shank retention section and nickel cobalt leading edges for superior durability against FOD and improved erosion resistance to environmental conditions. Raisbeck’s Composite 5-Blade Swept Propellers also offer operators reduced life cycle costs due to repariablility of the blades and the ability to maintain their airfoil shape, resulting in logher blade life expectancy.

  • Available for King Air models 300, B300, 350 and 360
  • Available for King Air models 200, B200, B200GT 250 and 260
  • Compatible with all Raisbeck Performance Systems
  • Structural composite blades are composed of a metal blade shank retention section onto which is molded a low-density foam core that supports built-up layers of composite laminate
  • Nickel cobalt leading edges protects against t foreign object damage (FOD)
  • Swept-wing technology enables larger diameter, while blade sweep eliminates undesirable drag and prop rip noise
  • Manufactured by Hartzell Propeller, Inc.

customer comments

“The feeling on the power levers when pushing them forward is like a horse raring to go… Propeller reversing spools up significantly quicker…. At the flare, when reducing power to idle, the braking/discing isn’t as pronounced and abrupt.”

R.Dueck, La Crete, Canada (B300)

“In four months, we’ve done somewhere around 140 hours onto a dirt strip or sand strip. We’ve had some terrible conditions where we were in the middle of a sandstorm. Neither myself nor the other pilots can understand how little wear there is on the leading edges of those five-blades with the nickel leading edges. It’s like they are brand new! The passengers, in particular, comment that it is quieter in the cabin – Nice and quiet.”

M.Taylor, Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia (B200)

“Riasbeck’s Composite 5-Blade Swept Propellers delivers all the performance advertised and then some. Accelerations forces on takeoff feel remarkably sharper, and the climb rate is significantly greater. Deceleration on landing is astounding even without prop reverse. And singel-engine performance is significantly better, while sound levels are much more pleasant with the new props.”

W.Loveseth, Edmonton, Canada (B300)

“The performance is astronomical from takeoff to landing with these new Raisbeck propellers. It’s like a new airplane!”

R.Glenn, Morris, Alabama (B200GT)
