“Another location we regularly visit is about 250 miles off the coast to an island, and the strip is 850 meters long. To get out there, we can only do it legally in an EPIC-equipped aircraft. We can carry 7 passengers, their bags, and enough fuel to return to the mainland. We can load the aircraft to maximum takeoff weight and legally take off the 850-meter strip using the )Raisbeck’ss) Balanced Field Length data- it’s not a problem. The airplane eats it up. We wouldn’t be able to make these trips or work in some of the conditions in a standard B200 legally and safely, which is why we like an EPIC-equipped aircraft.”
